Very good service. Comfortable plane. The connection times were excellent. I walked off one plane and on to another. The flight attendants announced that 25 people had tight connection and asked that they leave the plane first.

This was an overnight flight with a 1 hour and 40 minute layover in Toronto. The Toronto flight was delayed by 45 minutes and Westjet instantly bumped us off the flight and scheduled us on another flight 6 hours later. This was an overnight flight to begin with so little sleep was possible but to delay us another 6 hours forced us to be awake for 32 hours. Karen at the Westjet customer service was helpful but I still do not understand why Westjet didn't allow us to continue with the original flight considering that it was a 1 hr and 40 minute layover. The 6 hour flight delay was only 1 of 2 flights to Boston and I was told that if I didn't agree, I could be delayed even longer. Westjet should have planned for the delay on the original flight and allowed us to continue. Also, we didn't see any passengers from our original flight on the delayed flight, so were they allowed to continue onto the original flight? Because of this ill-planning on Westjet flights, I will avoid this airline.
The flight from Toronto to Calgary to Kamloops was on time and a pleasant flight. Flight attendants were very good at their jobs. Would recommend and will fly with them again.
We were flying to a business conference and had taken the day of travel off of work so we could arrive earlier and get settled. When we had arrived at the airport we were told that the first flight was delayed a lot and therefore we would miss our connection. We were rebooked onto a later flight leaving out of a different airport. It was left to us to make all the arrangements to get there and incur associated costs. Compensation was not offered. A long line had formed behind us so we moved on. I later called the airline and was offered a credit for the seats I had purchased on the flight I didn’t take. No compensation for having to drive to a different airport or for the first flight that was not taken. We finally arrived at our destination 8 hours after we were supposed to have arrived (1 am), with the first meeting starting at 6:00 am. Not fun at all!
First time we had flown with WestJet. The staff in the Airport were unsympathetic and not helpful. The staff at the Gate just seemed to think they were there to keep themselves and their colleagues amused.
The staff on the plane were very good.
