The cafe doesn't look like much, but the food was good, the draught beer relatively cheap and service was quick and friendly. Seemed to be mostly locals rather than tourists.
Pizza and chips hit the spot. The mozzarella and tomato starter was huge.
All in all, at half the cost of most restaurants in the old town, the Step Cafe was a bit of a hit.
