Stayed for 4 nights. We stayed in room 101!

Large room. Comfy bed. Excellent shower. Good wifi. Plenty of parking nearby.

The breakfasts here are excellent - plenty of good quality food. Coffee excellent.

The best thing about the hotel was the staff. Friendly, funny, helpful, knowledgeable.

We weren't disturbed at all by train noise from the station. There was some noise from the external air con units so when we stay again it will be further along the hotel.

We would have no problems staying here again - loved it.

A very quirky hotel right by the (quiet) railway line in Puigcerda. In fact it is the station hotel in effect, but not that you'd know it. the rooms are stylishly done and it's certainly different. Two criticisms, which may seem churlish: one, in my top floor room, there was no view. A very high skylight for light and then a tiny arched quarter window at floor level which squinted onto the square if you lay flat on the floor. Not one for claustrophobics. Second, though the fixtures and fittings are stylish they're also painful. The door handle into the toilet/shower was rectangular and razor sharp as the deep scratch across my back testified when I misjudged my exit. Breakfast in the common room was also plentiful and good, but again, minus any sort of view, which is a shame. The staff were friendly and helpful and parking my motorbike outside was safe and easy. Fairly expensive perhaps and I would have liked more opportunity to use the spa, details of which were scant, as its aroma down the corridor tempted me after a day in the saddle.

Room Tip: Don't go for an upper floor room

We were nervous about the "train station" nature of this hotel...really nervous. It turned out to be modern, extremely quiet, and very well managed. The breakfast was fantastic, staff courteous and helpful, and great value. The proximity of the funicular and elevator to get you up to the town center was very helpful. We could not have hada better experience!

Room Tip: We thought we preferred the town center side but because it was so quiet we were happy to have the track side and valley/mountain view.

Nice place ideal for a few nights and as a base for the surrounding areas. There are a few hikes that start close by.Also you can drive to Andorra for the day via France and come back Via sort a nice scenic route MAKE SURE THE ROADS ARE OPEN IN WINTER,as part of the route in France are B roads. One more thing:
Do not go to the corner bar across the road as he keeps his dogs in the car all day I have informed the police about this.

Room Tip: I think all are good.

We stayed at this hotel back in the Spring and we were delighted with all aspects of it. Firstly, the interior architecture of this hotel is somewhat unique. They have converted the two floors above a working train station into a small but efficient hotel that just has lots of personality. They have kept old brick walls, curved ceilings and beams exposed which makes it feel slightly industrial but very contemporary. Our bedroom was very well appointed and everything worked the way one would wish. It was fun to peek out and actually see a train pull into the station. The staff were so helpful and kind. The breakfast was simple but very adequate. The train station was in a great location for visiting the town but also it was so easy to get back onto the roads that led us out into the mountains. Some of the surrounding streets were a little tired but we felt perfectly safe and comfortable chatting to folks as we explored.

Room Tip: Try to be on the track side if you like trains. No problem with noise.
