During a road trip with my family, I stayed at this hotel.
The staff was very courteous and attentive - though I will say that they should have verbally warned us that the light in the room won't turn on until we insert the room key into a key hole by the bathroom.
The hotel layout is similar to a usual "business hotel." Small rooms with little space to walk around. The rooms could have smelled a bit fresher, but apparently, guests are discouraged from opening the window in the Summer, because bugs will come in (the window lacks screens).
So, why do I still give this hotel a "Very Good" rating? 1. Breakfast was surprisingly good. There were tasty sausages, two types of eggs, a variety of possibly locally baked breads, and other Japanese and European style side dishes. 2. Rice paddies - if you love nature, you can watch farmers tending to the rice paddies, and it is a beautiful view to watch the sun set behind small mountains. 3. Kizuna Yakiniku Restaurant - the reasonably priced Yakiniku (Korean BBQ) restaurant is within 1 minute's walk. Delicious meat in a casual atmosphere. 4. Free parking adjacent to the hotel.
This hotel is certainly not luxurious, but was comfortable and provided something extra compared to a normal boring business hotel.More
