Dined here recently for a family lunch to celebrate Mother’s Day, it is a small cafe with only a few tables inside and out but both the food and service was fantastic, manager/owner was very engaging with all the customers and that rubs off on his staff, nothing was too much trouble, we will definitely return

Little café in Sassafras- lunch was nice...meat pies were a big hit with many patrons! Soup was yummy. Staff attentive and friendly- good service. Delicious cakes available too.
Attached is the local post office where tourist information is available.

We have been heading to this place as regulars for few years and never disappoints.
We always go for the Sassi Burger and always delivers.
The coffee is second to non and I tell you as a locals we have tried them all. Big Rodd a true gentleman and his helpers always polite and friendly.
Its not gourmet food and doesn't advertise as such.
Quaint and friendly a must visit in our books.

We have lived in the area for 10 years and have tried all the local coffee shops but our favourite by far is this one! The Devonshire tea more than adequately serves 2 so suggest you share - it’s delicious. Food is great every time!

The owner was creepy and kept making embarrassing jokes which he obviously thought were funny.
We had 2 burgers and a pot of tea for 3. Mum had a hot dog. We requested chips but were told "we don't have a fryer"
The burgers were very pale, soggy and had absolutely no flavour. They honestly were the worst burgers I have ever tasted. They tasted like they had been cooked in the microwave. The onions on the hot dog were greasy.
The tea was OK, hot but weak. The teapot had a dirty chipped area on the spout which is inexcusable.
The burgers were hardly a meal on their own but were priced like one. Almost $50 for the three dishes. Very expensive.
this is my first review ever I've never felt compelled to write before.
