A charming tea room, filled with the atmosphere of a bygone era. While waiting for your table, you hear Bing Crosby crooning... and you begin to think you are a character in a Miss Marple's movie. There are teapots of all shapes and designs displayed, and the room is full.
We ordered pumpkin soup, rich and creamy, some chicken and fish melts, and for dessert a sinful ice-cream extravaganza! A lovely meal at an unforgettable English teahouse.

It's very hard to get a spot in this fancy little tea room with old english setting. Nice ladies serving good food. Love the scones and other food is not too bad. Would sometimes travel here for the fun and to enjoy some fresh air. Worth bringing a guest over and if you havent try it's worth going at least once.

Typically I go here just to enjoy the scones. Occassionally I starve myself and go crazy over the menu. The last time me and a friend shared- a fantastic beef pie and salad, followed my scones with rasp jam and cream, a lovely pot of new yorkshire gold tea that they have just got in, and to top it all off.. a sundae. It was amazing- butterscotch icecream, with choc sauce, honeycomb sprinkled over it, strawb and whipped cream. Absolutely incredible. Could barely move out of my seat. But was worth it. A word of warning- share your meals and dessert, or be prepared to only eat a main, or only a desert. They are that big, and that good, that you wont want to leave any behind! A visit midweek (not school holidays) is always worth it, as the wait for a table is always shorter, or no wait at all! :)
