We went here during the first week that this restaurant was open. The place looks really nice (especially compared to a lot of the other restaurants in Kalaw). The owner is a very nice Italian guy.

All staff was extremely friendly, but sometimes quite nervous and uncertain what to do. Surely the fact that it was their opening week had something to do with it.

The food and cocktails we had all tasted great. Again because it was the opening week, the menu was still very (too) limited, but the owner told me they were working on it.

All in all definitely a place to visit when you are staying in Kalaw! A place with a lot of potential!

For a moment you feel like you are in Italy. (Except for the beautifull view of the pagoda) To summurize: you get great food, meet extremely nice people and a experience the Passion of the italian owner

We stopped here for a small bite after it started raining on us. As we weren't hungry we only had drinks and a salad, but judging by the salad I would say the rest of the food here had got to be great. You could taste that they used really good olive oil in the dressing, and the owner was around making sure everything was perfect. A lot of care was put into the food and service at this restaurant. We also spotted a stone oven on the porch outside the restaurant, which I assume they will start making pizza's in in the future. The porch was a great place to sit, even while it was raining, and had comfy chairs.

The restaurant is open since September and the staff still has to get used to everything but they do their best to make sure everything is in order. The decor is a perfect mix between the traditional Myanmar and Western style restaurants. The menu offers both western/italian dishes as local Myanmar food and all is reasonably priced! The (Italian) owner makes sure everything is perfect and is a good host. The food tasted fantastic, the pasta was Italian-perfect and the creamy tomato soup was one of the best we've ever had. Considering this restaurant opened recently, it was already a lovely experience!
