Beautiful old building, with detail work along roof edges and elsewhere. However, it was closed for what looked like repairs. Still worth seeing, just wish we could have gone inside.
The Temple is in an area filled with small traditional shops and street vendors, fun times wandering around. We got lost and were helped by a local, in spite of having no common language.
Overall, there are very few westerners in Jining, and I was stared at as I walked around. Everyone was happy to return my smile and I was asked to pose with people for pictures.
