Nice basic business type hotel. Small room and bath. The hotel had a bath but I did not try it. Bed was ok, comfortable, furnishings were basic. Room seemed to have a shortage of accessible outlets. Breakfast area was very busy in the morning.

We had a very nice stay for two nights at the Route Inn. The hotel is located right on the port, and seaside rooms offer a great view of the ocean. It is also just around the corner from the Asaichi (morning market) and main street for Wajima lacquerware. The hotel facilities were generally typical for the Route Inn chain. However, the restaurant was better than usual for dinner, and the included breakfast was about normal for the chain. There are only a few Western items included on the breakfast buffet, but enough if you can't handle a Japanese-style breakfast. As for the room, it was somewhat larger than many Japanese "business" hotels, featuring twin beads, a small table and two chairs, and a desk and TV. The bathroom is typically very tight, but usable unless you are staying for an extended period. The carpet in the room could have used a good shampooing, but otherwise the room was in good condition. The natural hot springs bath on the 1st floor was a pleasant surprise. The hotel appears to be set up to handle English, and although we didn't need to use English, it appeared that at least one of the front desk staff spoke English. We would also like to thank the hotel manager for being incredibly helpful with our travel plans . We would readily select the Route Inn Wajima again on our next stay.

Room tip: Get a seaside room.

(+) Room with sea view (718), Nice breakfast, location at sea front. Great value for money. Would return to this hotel next time for shure!
(-) No English TV channel on the room TV
(+/-) Area is under development with some buidling works ongoing, but this is not disturbing at all and will make the area even more interesting in the near future!

Room tip: Ask for sea view on higher floor (7th)

The room was quite small. (I had two double beds to myself.) I am glad I didn't have a roommate as it would have been very tight quarters. I never visited the public bath, which I regret. The breakfast was fine with many choices. Computer for guests' use in the lobby. I can't rate the value as I did not pay for the room. Very pleasant stay.

Cramped but a reasonable onsen which had an especially hot outdoor bath. Location is next to bus stop and it is close enough to be able to enjoy the various sightseeing spots in this charming little town.
