The ryokan is lovely with extremely warm and gracious staff. You have the opportunity to choose your own yucata for the night from the hotels selection. The food was carefully prepared and served on beautiful laquerware. There are 2 onsens with the ground floor being both indoor and outdoor overlooking a gorgeous koi pond. The onsen on the first floor is indoor. The room itself overlooked the ocean as well as the street as the ryokan is located on right next to the coastal street. Warm and gracious staff.

We had a very short time here as we took public transportation to Wajima from Kanazawa Station and has just planned an overnite. The staff at the Tourist Office at the station gave us all the details on how/where to catch the bus. As Wajima is the last stop on the bus, the hotel shuttle bus picked us up from the station. A ride one way is about 2 hours with some pretty scenery at parts along the way. Early the next day we visited the morning market which is well worth a look. There is also a beautiful temple at the opposite end of the street from the morning market.

We were looking for a old style inn in an out of the way location and we found the noto no sho perfect for us as we had a car which is a necessity for visiting the peninsula.
First, the facility is great. We had an in tub suite on first floor which was spacious enough and very comfortable. The ocean view as nice although the ever present road can be a little noisy.
Secondly, the staff are very accommodating and friendly. Not much English spoken here but enough for us to thoroughly enjoy ourselves. Everyone worked hard to ensure a wonderful stay.
Lastly, the food was excellent. We stayed for three nights and had dinner and breakfast each day. The fresh fish and dinning experience were perfect. The chef was very adept at preparing the local fare and the presentation was excellent.
As with most great accommodations it is the staff which make it that way. They looked after us so that we enjoyed our visit both in and away from the inn.

Wonderful ocean views. Lovely spacious room with separate living area. I loved the onsen. The breakfasts and dinners were amazing. Not much English is spoken by the staff but their graciousness and willingness to assist showe the through. One of the best Ryokans I have been to. I will definitely stay here again if I visit Wajima again. It has parking as well.

Amazing! This ryokan has wonderful sea views, great hot spring bath and a warm friendly welcome.

Please come here by car, you will not regret it. The tip of the peninsula is exceptionally beautiful and only accessible by car.

I stayed there for one night with my family. We reserved two rooms; one ocean view Tatami room and one western style room. We were welcomed by all the staff when we got there. We had experienced wonderful Japanese Omotenashi in the past but this one was extraordinary. That was very impressive. My mother and I were soon invited to a little room by the lobby to chose Yukata we liked. There were many Yukata with different designs and colors to choose from. What great and unusual about this hotel was that flooring in this Ryokan was all Tatami except for the western style bedrooms. All the corridors, elevators, and even staircases had Tatami flooring and so we could walk inside the hotel with bear feet. Most of the food were served with Wajima lacquer wear at dinner and breakfast. Even coffee was served in Wajima-nuri at the bar. Wajima-nuri lacquer wear was found in abundance in this Ryokan. Our Nakaisan was also great. It was he but he paid attentions to details and so we could spent wonderful time while our stay there. He also gave us a great recommendation to where we could purchase Wajima-nuri wear a little more reasonably. He also recommended places to visit in Wajima and gave us a discount ticket. Our stay in this Ryokan was beyond expectation and we know we will definitely come back to this Ryokan when we are visiting here again.
