For sure it is not the easiest place to find but it is worth it! This traditional ryokan is located in a fishermen village 20 min bus from Wajima but just the trip is worth it: beautiful cliffs and the Japan sea on one side and the mountain's forest or rice fields on the other. The beginning was a bit tough as they just speak a few words of English but the family welcoming you is super sweet and will do everything they can to make the best of your stay! The room was spacious, clean and a yukata is waiting for you! The food was exceptional with fresh caught fish and local products that are explained to you and nicely presented. The facilities are a bit old but always clean.
If you want a real experience on the Japanese country side, I really recommend it!More
