I spend one night by traveling through Shikoku. The hotel has nice rooms and fast internet, but is a bit far from the city center. I slept on 4th floor and the whole night was some rumour, people can and leave.
I spent about 10 nights at this hotel. Initially, I was going to move from hotel to hotel to visit the temples which are part of the Shikoku pilgrimage trail (Shikoku Henro), but I liked the New Century Hotel so much that I kept extending my stay. Borrowing one of the free bicycles from the hotel allowed me to visit not only the 12 Henro temples in the region, but also hot springs, local sights and museums. The hotel buffet breakfast was excellent value, and the restaurant was overall a good choice for lunch or dinner. Most of all, I appreciated the helpful staff and its efforts to accommodate for all my needs. A fresh yukata is provided every day. There is a coin laundry on the ground floor level.
