We had a sea view room with private onsen. It was a wonderful stay. The private onsen is enclosed, but I find it nicer than "open and outdoor" ones because it is warmer and cleaner (fewer insects). The room is spacious, and there is an outdoor balony. Can view the sunset from the room/balcony/private onsen.
All rooms in this hotel have beds, but I notice there are still futons in the closet.
Think the owner of this hotel did some research on guest psychology. All drinks in the room fridge are free. They also offer free drinks at dinner. Moreover, there is a free snack bar in the lobby, and free ice bars outside the public onsen by the water machine. Ladies can also freely choose different yukata from the shelf near the public onsen entrance. I surely enjoyed all these freebies, which are not very common in Japan.
Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. They also gave us rice balls to take away when we checked out.
Everything was nice and clean in this hotel. We surely enjoyed our stay. The only thing is they currently don't have any outdoor onsen (only indoor ones). Seems that they are working on building one now.More
