The restaurant is close to the town centre, with lots of natural light once you enter. We ate at lunchtime on a weekday - it was not crowded. The welcome was friendly and attentive without being overly so.
The food is good - we especially liked the vegetables in batter and samosas as a starter. I think the food is more Pakistani than Indian in style. The main dish was fairly spicy but we could ask for it hotter or less spicy if need be.
There was a choice of Indian beers rather than just the standard Kingfisher.
All in all worth a visit but eating à la carte is not cheap.
