Nice menu. Pity about the service. We were shown to our table at 1pm. There were 6 servers - which should have been adequate for some 48/50 covers - but we were on the point of leaving when the first course finally arrived at 2.08! (We'd been counting the minutes in desperation). The sorbet had melted by the time it arrived. The - apple-based - accompaniments were the same for both main courses - one veal, one fish. Excellent cheeseboard. We assumed some kind of crisis in the kitchen. I notice the only other bad reviews are for slow service.

Ate here when staying in the town on a Paris to London cycling trip. The restaurant had a lovely ambiance and the food was delicious, if somewhat expensive. It had a large wine list with some very nice wine on offer. I would recommend it.

We stopped here during our cycling tour of Normandy. We had a 30€ set menu that was superb. It was five courses including a brilliant cheese board. The wine was excellent and the service great. Outstanding value for money. A must go to place if you're in town.

We had a simply lovely meal this evening with a friendly welcome, and a very good value set meal with plenty of choices. A delicious calves tongue dish to start and excellent fish course with amusing and interesting sweet after a wonderful array of different mostly local cheeses. Le Patron greeted us personally and it was a very pleasant evening. Whilst parking is difficult near the hotel there is plenty in the village square or on the parallel street behind, a very short walk away.

This dinner exceeded our expectations. In this very small town, we did not expect a great meal, served to perfection. The Chef greeted us personally and explained the food. He spoke enough English to help us with our choices. We were a party of 12 and not 1 order was confused. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The service was superb. The wine choices were excellent. The prices were very reasonable.
