This resort was a great place to rest and relax. Just off our room was a hot tub and down the steps was the pool. The pool area was beautiful. On one side was a beautiful wall of native flowers and greenery, off to the other side the Caribbean Sea. You would need water shoes to swim at their beach, but there are shuttles to other swimmer friendly beaches. We used the BBQ that was also just outside our room.
The resort was very safe and comfortable. The entire staff was friendly and helpful. We had daily housekeeping. It was close to the airport, but we were not bothered by any noise. We really enjoyed our stay!

Room Tip: Room 117 had ocean view, was quiet, and close to a hot tub and the pool

Went to Sandy Point Beach Club for a two (2) day getaway (lime) with four (4) other male colleagues in January 2017. This venue is all that its advertised to be and then some. Would gladly & easily recommend this venue to anyone or family who are looking for a place to relax and unwind.

From start to finish, the service was excellent.

Firstly, sent an email request for info on possible accommodations for six (6) single males (ie) no couples.
Kafi was quick to respond and all further questions I sent were addressed in a very timely manner.

Secondly, online payment via credit card was secure & efficient. Receipt was quickly posted via email verifying receipt of funds & confirmation of reservation.

Thirdly, upon arrival we were allowed to check into our room as soon as it was prepared, which was about three (3) hours before the designated Check In time. On a rainy day as it was, this was great.

Fourthly, the facility itself is very well kept. The Gym, Swimming Pool, Heated Pool, Room, Dining Area, Bar, Grounds and Play Park are maintained in pristine condition.
There are at least three (3) separate areas where BBQ grills (gas operated), are available for use on the grounds.
The Kitchens are well equipped with all the basic essentials required for preparing & serving meals.
There is also a Library on site and a lovely "carat shed" overlooking the beach, ideal for picnicing, liming or relaxing at sunset (or sunrise, if you prefer).
There is a mini-mart on site where you can get most of your basic needs.
A Jetty extends well into the ocean from the hotel, ideal for fishing or just relaxing.
Though the facility is "beach front", the beach here is probably not what most would consider 'ideal' for bathing. However, just like the Airport, Store Bay Beach is an easy lazy stroll of 10 minutes (or less), from the hotel.

And finally, but by no means least, special mention needs to be made of Natasha at the Front Desk/Reception. She is the epitome of great customer service & a major asset to the hotel.

This resort offers a very good combination of most of the benefits of a tropical getaway. The rooms are comfortable, the hospitality is very good, the location on the shore is excellent, the cafe meals are delicious, view of sunset is great, location near airport is convenient , pool and three hot tubs, tennis court, playground, and the pre-planned activities on the site and around the island are varied and interesting. We enjoyed little extras such as orientation breakfast, happy hour, free coffee and live entertainment. Free shuttles are available to better nearby beaches. Some concerns: double check airport shuttle, wear skin protection for sand flies, hotel beach is not best for swimming, WiFi is unreliable to poor, housekeeping is inadequate. It is a generally quiet spot, except perhaps on the weekend when there is an influx of weekend guests. There are small irritants such as bad house phone, no salt or pepper in the room, and rain flies.

Room Tip: Not wheel chair accessible

A place to relax and forget what day it is or what time it is. You feel safe and comfortable. The place is not pretentious it is well maintained and quiet. the kids have lots to keep busy. The staff is friendly and helpful. You will have to try very hard not to have a great vacation at Sandy Point. I was there with a group of thirteen ages from one to eighty-one spread over three rooms. it was great. It was perfect.
