Great quiet guesthouse with very helpful owner

I stayed 5 days in a single room with attached bathroom here in a quiet residential neighbourhood.
My wonderful host Andrew was a great source of helpful information including how to find local waterfalls and places to see and eat. One night he even made Cow Heel soup for us and it was delicious. He also helped with things like laundry, finding print shops, etc.
The room has plenty of closet space, great a/c, a very comfortable bed and the guesthouse is close to many restaurants and bars just a 15 minute walk from the airport but he can arrange transportation if you don't fancy the walk.
The only downside was that he cannot accept credit cards, but there are several ATMs very close by so that is a minor issue. I had no wifi so finding the place wasn't the easiest but get directions beforehand or just ask a friendly local.
I loved my stay here and highly recommend it. Thanks again Andrew.

Perfect!

It is real a Nice and Cosy place. Verywell located in a quite area which is very closed to everything with a fantastic host.
Do not miss the good italian restaurants, pancakehouse for breakfast and the fantastic beaches.

Well located and nice owner

I very much enjoyed my stay at candles. It’s very close to the center and walkable distances to various beaches.
Andrews is very knowledgeable don’t hesitate to ask him for advices.
I stayed in the dorm. I had access to a locker

Brilliant place

Andrew is a great host. The place felt like home away from home and Andrew was so helpful and pleasant. The location also is perfect from getting to and from the airport. Also walking distance from the lively strip, where there are restaurants and bars. Very important!!! Only 5 mins walk to the beach. Will definitely recommend stay there.

Andrew is an excellent host. Candles in the wind is in an excellent location to the 2 most beautiful beaches, great food and easy access to banks and Atm machines. Guest house offers all amenities. Great place to stay!
