We arrived at Finglas House absolutely exhausted after a gruelling first day on the Dingle Trail. We were given a lift up the hill for the last mile, by a lovely man in a community transport minibus, for which we were very grateful and then Mrs Daly took over, kindly settling us into our spacious and spotless room, making sure we had everything we needed and phoning Ashe's pub across the road to let them know we were coming. There was a comfortable and cosy guest sitting room with a big TV, local books and hot drink facilities that we really enjoyed using. The breakfast was lovely. Mrs Daly cheered us up by saying that the first day of the trail was the worst and Day 2 was always better, and she was absolutely right!

Room Tip: The room at the top of the stairs was very spacious as was the bathroom, although the windows let in...

We stayed here for one night prior to starting the Dingle Way, walking from Camp to Annascaul. Kathleen was warm and welcoming and ensured we were settled in comfortably and pointing us to Ashes Pub across the road for an evening meal.
The room was comfortable, clean and with a welcome bath in addition to a shower. A good breakfast and kind wirds the next day set us on our way and we would definitely be happy to stay again.

We arrived at the B&B after a 20 mile hike. Kathleen immediately welcomed us, showed us the tea room and our room. The tea room had a wonderful view of the Bay and Kathleen provided muffins to have with our tea. Kathleen, concerned about how we were doing, knocked on our door to ensure we were still upright!! Breakfast was served in a sun soaked room with a view of the bay, our only regret is that we did not stay for a couple of more evenings. I would recommend this B&B to anyone travelling in the area, also Kathleen is a wonderful, caring, sweet person who goes out of her way to ensure her guests feel at home!

Great B&B! We arrived soaking wet and quite miserable after a rainy day on the Dingle walk, but our stay at Finglas House revived us all. The landlady was very kind and hospitable. She dried all of our boots and clothes. There were tea and cookies in the upstairs sitting room and the rooms (and bathroom) were all very nice and clean. The next morning she delighted us with a marvelous English breakfast. I'd definitely stay here again!

We arrived at Camp and Finglas House after a long 24 mile run from An Doneen. We were sore, tired and hungry. Our gracious host Kathleen made us feel right at home providing us with fresh orange juice, muffins and cookies with our afternoon tea! We felt better right away. We went next door for a few beers at the Daly bar where Kathleen and Peter are proprietors and had a lovely visit with them and some of the locals. My daughter and I ran the Dingle Way in 5 days, starting and ending in Camp and our night at Finglas was wonderful and memorable. Oh and the breakfast the next morning big and delicious!!! Thank you!
