We traveled through Italy and staid for two days (three nights) at Il Cavallo (shopping at nearby outlet). Excellent small family run hotel with nice clean and big rooms, good Italian style breakfast (do not expect porridge, beans or omelettes but good selection of cheese, prosciutto, yogurts and fresh croissants were always there), very friendly and helpful personnel. Be positive and even if you do not speak Italian, you will get everything you need. Despite we were arriving late, after a call to the reception, they agree to wait for us for extra couple of hours and refused to accept any compensation for that.
Nicely located right in the center of a small town, good restaurant-osteria is at the same building, so you do not have to walk/drive for long. Parking is free at the garden behind the building. Please note the doors height, the building is quite old (currently renovated and with good facilities) and apparently people in Tuscany were much smaller in 18th century.
What is quite rare for Italy - it was rainy and quite cold outside, but the heating in the room was great and there "hot water" was always hot - it is quite common for owners to save on that.
