When travelling north-south or south-north this is great overnight stop. We love it, love to avoid large cities and stayed again two days. The hotel is small, charming, clean, nicely staffed. We always take the quiet room with the terrace. There is a good free parking. A nice strall to the lively main piazza will be rewarded with a drink in the busy local bar there you will also find nice little shops. There is a nice golf course nearby and with the Cavallino Bianco a good restaurant in the building connected to the hotel.

Room tip: A room in the direction of the hotels parking.

We stayed for 1 night on out trip through italy. The hotel is few minutes off the highway in a nice small village city center. Nice small, family run place. We were lucky enough to have the family room with 4 beds and a huge private terrace. The beds are good, the bathroom is clean and OK. The breakfast is simple but complete. The staff friendly and helpful. They have a private parking. Overall nothing very special but good value compare to the price. Recommended.

We traveled through Italy and staid for two days (three nights) at Il Cavallo (shopping at nearby outlet). Excellent small family run hotel with nice clean and big rooms, good Italian style breakfast (do not expect porridge, beans or omelettes but good selection of cheese, prosciutto, yogurts and fresh croissants were always there), very friendly and helpful personnel. Be positive and even if you do not speak Italian, you will get everything you need. Despite we were arriving late, after a call to the reception, they agree to wait for us for extra couple of hours and refused to accept any compensation for that.

Nicely located right in the center of a small town, good restaurant-osteria is at the same building, so you do not have to walk/drive for long. Parking is free at the garden behind the building. Please note the doors height, the building is quite old (currently renovated and with good facilities) and apparently people in Tuscany were much smaller in 18th century.

What is quite rare for Italy - it was rainy and quite cold outside, but the heating in the room was great and there "hot water" was always hot - it is quite common for owners to save on that.

Simple room sparsely furnished with bare, white walls, however we had everything, incl. air conditioning. New, firm beds and new bathroom. Everything a new, nice and clean, but not lacking in atmosphere. A simple breakfast was included, we enjoyed our cappucinos and croissants outside in the patio behind the hotel. The owner was very friendly and helped us plan our journey.

Free parking behind the hotel. Location is perfect, if you're going outlet shopping. The MacArthurGlen Designer outlet is less than five minutes away.

We stayed one night and had dinner at the restaurant next door (recommended by the hotel owner). The restaurant didn't disappoint. They didn't speak much English, but made an effort to communicate with us and explain the items on the menu.

All in all a great experience.
