This hotel is a find. It's in a super sweet location, near trails, the lake, the viaduct. Absolutely lovely and picturesque, it feels magical. The restaurant was also terrific, really good food. We had a lovely time here.

Room Tip: we got a family room and it worked great

Wonder old hotel, with very fine antiques and a wonder dining room.
The food was delicious. The waiters were very nice and worked hard to
please. The room was clean and done very nicely. Would definitely stay there
again on another trip through Scotland.

I stayed here with seven mates recently. The hotel is set in a fabulous location, the food was fantastic and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. Fiona, the manager is superb and nothing was too much trouble.
I would highly recommend this place to stay. It is very reasonably priced.

Old world with modern comfort. The management and staff are as warm as the open fires that warm your bones in this wonderful old building. The restaurant is wonderful with excellent vegetarian and vegan options available.. Even vegan haggis which was delicious! I hope to visit again.

In a rising market where the "Highland spirit" is misused and distorted, in this lovely hotel you can experience the true Highland hospitality in a grand house. The attention to details, the outstanding customer care, the going the extra mile to make you feel at home and among friends that you want to see again make this place a true gem.
