After our walk on the beach, decided to eat at The Buzz Cafe along Alona Beach. Checked my email for the intinerary of our rescheduled flight, which we called in earlier in the day, only to find out, no emailed itinerary. Called the airline hotline and was then told that the rescheduling that we did earlier was not made because maybe when the agent “saved” our rescheduled information, other agents were making the same transactions and ours did not push through!!! PANIC MODE AND IRATE CUSTOMER MODE ON! Asked when the next flight out of Tagbilaran was and they said Aug 20! I said NO! They need to find me a flight that goes out the next day because it’s my son’s birthday! So, this is what happened in the next 30 minutes. . .
First, told agent, refund cancelled tickets and create booking for flight out of Cebu. While said agent was making new booking for flight at 1045H, flight closed and was fully-booked. Agent transferred details to next available flight at 1220H. SUCCESS! So, flight out of Cebu... check!
Second, book trip on SuperCat on the first trip the next day at 0550H! Check! Printed tickets... check!
Third, finish eating our SCRUMPTUOUS dinner!
All the stars aligned at this specific moment in time as in this cafe, there was internet where we could check if the itinerary was sent to my email and we were able to print our SuperCat tickets!
So THANKS FROM THE BOTTOM OF HEARTS to the Management and Staff of The Buzz Cafe, Alona Beach for assisting us in our hour of need! We will forever be GRATEFUL!
