Fabolous hotel in a beautiful part of Cornwall, everything about Carbis Bay Hotel, from the welcome, customer service, food and decor is all 5 star. Special thanks to Nicole for making our wedding day better than we could ever imagine. It didn't matter that it was just two of us we were treated like royalty and the attention to detail was no less than that of a much more lavish wedding. Carbis Bay Hotel is a wonderful backdrop for wedding photos, don't be put off by the current building works as this didn't affect any aspect of our wedding day or the rest of our week stay. The contractors are considerate, tidy and even offered a wave first thing in the morning. Looking forward to returning in October to view the progress.

We got married in the garden pagoda which has sea and garden views perfect for an intimate wedding, Nicole advised on a local florist, photographer and hairdresser three fewer things for us to worry about, the spa staff particularly Gilia who ensured wedding makeup was perfect and would definitely, recommend the spa treatments a massage is a perfect way to relax before the big day.

With the help of Nicole, i managed to book my wedding gift to Michelle a day on the hotel's Sunseeker yacht, 50' and 30 tonnes of sheer luxury and if you have the opportunity its well worth booking it, we had an amazing trip, John the skipper was fantastic and the afternoon tea and champagne were plentiful.

Our week's stay was topped off by the amazing food that is offered, not only in the Sands restaurant but in the Beach Club and the sister hotel The Ganet, no matter where we dined we were thoroughly spoilt, would like to give a special mention to Enrique and Calim and their team who were fabulous from dawn till dusk.

Its just left to say a huge thank you to the entire team at Carbis Bay for making our wedding day the best ever, can't wait to return.

Room Tip: All rooms are excellent, our favourites are those with a balcony :)

Just returned from a lovely stay at Carbis Bay Hotel. Everything was wonderful, from the excellent service in the hotel to quite stunning views and beach. I can not recommend enough. My partner, our 5 year old daughter, and my parents had the most relaxing few days, there is something for everyone. I'd particularly like to thank Leslie for her excellent care, and Richard in the restaurant was excellent, to be honest though it almost seems wrong to single anyone out as all the staff we interacted with were offering nothing but good old fashioned service at all times.
We were lucky with the weather, but when the sun is shining the bay is so stunning you could be in the Caribbean!
Will definitely be retuning, many thanks.

Room Tip: The walk from Carbis Bay to St Ives was lovely, and only took about 25 minutes.

We wanted to get off the beaten track of places Americans go. The bulk of the other guests here seemed to be from the UK, so mission accomplished. The hotel is comfortable, the views are amazing. Travelers from the USA, remember European hotel rooms are smaller than you are used to, and a UK "king" bed is a US "queen" size; consider springing for a more expensive room like a superior. The view from the room was amazing, and you could hear the surf with the windows open. Yes, there is construction going on and it is a little annoying, but they are quiet at night and don't start too early in the morning.

Thank you for your review and we are pleased you enjoyed your visit to our corner of England and especially the views! Our new lodges are open now and are even closer to the view, being right on the beach.
We hope you might be able to come again, one day!

Stayed at the carbis bay hotel in July the hotel is situated right on the beach with uninterrupted views this is a gem in itself
The decor is tasteful and the hotel is elegant without feeling stuffy Rooms are clean and very well arrange with everything you need at hand if you manage to get a room which overlook the sea with there separate balconies and French doors that opens onto the sea views theses are wonderful to sleep all night with the sound of the sea was very relaxing
The food here is exceptional with locally sourced ingredients and attention to detail you won’t be disappointed if you want to dine in the conservatory there is the local pianist playing in the evening with great service through this hotel I can see why it’s a popular destination to book and return
Before you leave if you haven’t been before then the spa is a must it is one of the best spa in cornwall with local oils and products to tempt you into not leaving
The hotel now boast some fabulous new additions of new builds where you can stayed theses are a great addded bonus to this hotel if you don’t want the hotel venue then the self contains maybe for your Liking and more privacy
The hotel also boasts the beach bar aswell as separate from the hotel it is just a few steps away closer again to the sea front but a little more trendy and younger scene perfect for couple who don’t want to have anything too fancy to eat there is something for everyone at this hotel and if not the staff will endeavour to try there upmost to succeed in there tasks
Highly recommended and I for one will be pleased to go back again to this hotel

Thank you so much for your perfect 5* review and we are really pleased you had such a great time. You describe everything vividly, bringing it all to life and you are absolutely right - our new lodges. opening this week, are just amazing - and literally on the beach with their own private outdoor hot tubs - how cool is that?
Come back soon!

Best regards
