The location is great. It’s right next to the High Ferns domains within walking distance and you can go to different hotspots such as Baraque Michel, Signal de Botrange, Cascade de Bayehon, etc. The hotel has its own parking, so you don’t have to use the overcrowded public parking. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Your temperature was checked at check in. The room was a small but decent. The only heating was from the heating in the bathroom, but because it’s a small room it doesn’t feel cold. Due to the pandemic and local rules, you can’t eat anywhere else but in your room. This means that there will be an extra high top bar table with bar stools in your room. Dinner was obligated with the reservation, which surprised me. I guess they didn’t want to clean up takeout containers. The dinner was very expensive in my opinion: soup and cold platters (cuts of meat, cheese, olives, vegetables,..) with bread and dessert for 60€/2p, on top of the +/-140€/2p you were already paying. It was decent and it did fill you up, but it was not worth the 60€. Spoke to other guests and they had the same thought. Lunch was optional and was 9€/p for bread with meat, a bottle of water and a small brownie. It was decent, but again expensive for what it really was. Breakfast was included and was nice with a decent...The location is great. Breakfast was included and was nice with a decent amount of options. Due to the pandemic and the current rules only the swimming pool was open. I’m not sure how many people were allowed there, but we ended up with 14 people in the water of a relatively small pool. There was no one checking the guests. We had to choose timeslots upfront. A friend of mine had emailed the hotel and they said 15 persons were allowed, but on the notice at the pool it said 4 persons, so it was confusing to them. I did not see a notice at the pool. All other spa ammenities were closed. I would give 3,5 stars.More
