Stopped mid-afternoon, after a visit to the fairy pools. Food was excellent and pub was dog-friendly. Happy and helpful staff. We sat outside and saw a sea eagle over the loch. Amazing! Would highly recommend.

And great views of the loch too! Our fish and chips were excellent as was the venison burger. The barman and waitresses were very friendly and made for a nice experience.

We only came across the Old Inn perchance when we'd been out with Steve on his boat. What a find! This is a hidden treasure. The staff are fantastic - very friendly and helpful. The food is beautiful and the menu vey varied. The atmosphere is brilliant - probably due to the fact that you've got locals at the bar and diners around the place enjoying food. It's a little bit off the beaten track but this is a fabulous place.

As proper as it gets. Friendly staff, very good food and selection of drinks. But what makes this such a good find is its atmosphere. It has a really good feel to it and all the people, locals or tourists, are very friendly.

An extremely enjoyable place to warm up in with a beer after a walk, or to hole up in for the evening. So good, we went twice in 2 days.

It's very crowded as it is just beside talisker whiskey distillery. Amidst rainy weather, it is pretty packed. Food took quite Long to come (about one hour for us) probably due to the huge crowd during the rainy weather

Good food though!
