This small friendly restaurant is located in the former gatehouse of the Chateau de Chimay. We visited on a warm Wednesday evening when we were able to sit outside on a calm sunlit evening with tranquil views of the Chateau and the wooded valley below. The Menu Plaisir (two starters, main course and dessert) was priced at 50 euros and was good value for excellent and inventive food. Two amuse-bouche preceded the menu, and set a very high standard which must be just bubbling under a Michelin star. As it is they have a Bib Gourmand and one knife and fork for "simple standard". I think they deserve better than that.
