Hotel Alisi is a budget priced hotel close to the centre of the town. It has a secure car park (you have to pay extra). Is very clean and comfortable, if on the budget side. For a one or two night explorative stay in the area or to travel to the Santander ferry crossing, it is great value. The breakfast beats many a 4/5 star hotel. Staff do not speak english but are extremely helpful anyway. Free Wifi. The locals use the hotel bar. It punches way above its weight for value. I would definitely recommend this for car travellers.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room - ours was on the 4th floor over the main street below. I am a fairly light sleeper and heard nothing.

We saw the place on trip Advisor as a low cost stopover. Very good price and room was excellent. Wifi was excellent. Close to the centre but easy to park. Lots to do within walking distance. Pleasant place in a very nice town

We wanted an overnight hotel near the motorway that was in a town/village so we had something to do in the evening - Hotel Alissi was great.

There is free on road parking, the front of the hotel is clean and attractive. Looks like it is a fairly new build or renovated building. The room was lovely and for 75 Euro's, we thought pretty good value. The room was clean and had a new and very nice en suite bathroom, The walls are paper thin though and could hear snoring etc from the room next door.

The hotel is just on the edge of the town centre, so great for walking to bars and restaurants, children park area etc. We did not find a whole load of restaruants but there are a few.. and there is a Spar shop opposite the hotel. The town itself is very pleasant with a main square and a historic area which is worth a walk around whilst there.

There is also a bar within the hotel which is great for a beer or coffee. I do not know if they do breakfast as we left early to travel south.
