We were looking for dinner for three and after some time looking at various places opted for the Alcazaba - good decision! The food was really good and the wine exceptional value (we had a bottle of house red and a bottle of house rose for less than 10 euros. The service was a little eccentric, but I think it was our waiter's first day..?? We were made to feel very welcome and even got a bow and a handshake when we left.

We choose a white wine made of Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo, the winelist mentioned. So we asked the owner if that is correct. Yes he said! But the bottle itself mentioned Chardonnay!!!! Food was good, not special. Service was so, so.

We went for a dinner on Tuesday night. As normal here all places are closed until 8:30 and quite a lot are closed with no clear reason :) Spotted quite few couples walking around and looking for a place to have dinner :)
Dinning area is nice, menu in english which is good just waitress wasn't speaking english.
We had strange starter with bead, chorizo and grapes followed by trout and lamb. Don't be surprise but lamb will come without any dressing just meat :) trout had few salad leaves and tomatoes.
Nothing special with the place ordinary food for late dinner.

Found this place at lunchtime tables outside but only six inside, as we wanted eat in the evening we booked. The inside is rustic and warm. The menu was excellent and the food all sounded local. Staff very helpful. Ordered tortilla soap without egg, it was thick and beautiful, followed by venison red wine stew, you didn't need a knife. My friends were equally impressed with their choices. An excellent restaurant.
