The location was good. However the condition of the capsule hotel was just...bad. The toilet was shared and it was kind of gross. The place felt very outdated. There was a smell like a dusty stale kind of smell.

We thought we should try this just for the experience. Luckily for us the place was empty so we did not have to worry about being noisy. Fun just to try once. The place is clean enough, a bit like a backpacker stop over. You get a locker, capsule bed, tv, power outlets, towels, slippers and a gown.

Worst place I stayed in Japan and in the world.

This place is horrible. It is crammed full of junk and clutter. It is old, very out dated and the worst bit - filthy dirty.

Just because it is cheap and central is not a reason the overlook the grime and clutter.

I found it hard to find. I was walking round the area for ages. It looks like a shop from the outside.

The main bathroom is off the main reception so you can see people bathing through the curtains!!! Men and women have alternative hour slots to use the shared bathroom !?!? Which basically means you wait. Not worth waiting for it was so revolting. I paid to shower at the airport - I couldn't face it.

The lockers can't hold suitcases so you have to leave you case in reception. Which is not helpful when your bed is on the 5th floor.

The actual capsules are actual bunk beds with curtains. With old TV's and electronics. With uncomfortable pillows. The bathroom off the dorm was three toilet pans in the floor and a filthy disgusting sink with only a cold tap. No hot water.

Don't expect a warm welcome either- which was my only bad experience in the whole of Japan. You can only check in after 6pm.

I would never recommend this place. It's truly awful.

The location and fact it's a capsule experience are the only good things about this place.

My advice would be to stay somewhere else, just because a place is cheap doesn't mean you should stay there,

Toilets are awful, rooms are noisy, everything is old.

Avoid is my advice.

Very cheap place to stay in. Do not expect much from it. It's just a place to sleep one or two nights, not more. The location is perfect for visiting Tokyo in general. Wifi works only in the lobby and there are specific hours for boys and for girls to use the bathroom, not good if you are in a hurry.

Price is low, don't expect much from this place. Location is good, walking distance from the Tokyo station and just a stone throw away from ginza. Good place to stay if you just want to visit the tsukiji auction at 4am, about 20 minutes walk (or 1 train stop away). Bathroom is shared - men and women each have a specific time slot. Bathroom amenities all provided. Bed is comfy and warm. All in all, not too bad!
