My husband is Japanese and has to eat here at least once when we visit Japan.
Their specialty is fish cooked to order over hot charcoal. The food served here is a good example of how the Japanese of my husband's generation ate when they were growing up. The food is really good quality with miso soup, rice, and several small side dishes as part of the meal set. It is really delicious but you have to like fish to eat here! We love it.
