The Shiba Park is conveniently located next to a number of metro lines making it easy to get around the city. The room was standard, with a decent size room. Our view was of a wall, however was not so much of a problem. The shower was good and the bathroom was a good size. The ambience and clientele were pleasant. Breakfast is in a nice room, although the western breakfast is not the best with better Japanese dishes; the coffee and juices were good. What makes this place exceptional however is the service and staff. We wanted sushi recommendations and were astounded by the hard work and professionalism of Yuka, who went out of her way to find us a fantastic restaurant. It is rare to be treated so commendably. Top stars for the staff.

Room Tip: Rooms on one side of the annex building have a wall as a view.

This was a reasonably priced location not more than 5 or 10 minutes from the subway stations and a JR Yamanote stop. It's easy to get to other parts of Tokyo from here so perfect for a short break. The staff were helpful and the breakfasts, although on the pricey side, were of good quality. Would stay there again. There's a fine little Izakaya just down the street, called Masuya standing bar. Actually you don't have to stand as, even if there is no room downstairs, there is usually some upstairs. Prices are very reasonable and the food is good. It's a smoking place so you may be unlucky to be sat next to someone who lights up.

The room was wonderful. More than enough space for three people. The whole set up of the room was nice. The bathroom was stocked and always restocked with whatever we needed. Location of the hotel was great. Very close to the subway and local restaurants. It's a business district so it's not a packed area like Shibuya or Shinjuku, which is great. The hotel even had Japanese culture events available. Sadly I didn't get a chance to attend any of them. The staff spoke English well and were very helpful.

One thing we noticed during our three-night stay. We never had to wait for the elevator. It came as soon as we pressed the button.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights as part of a tour. This hotel is seriously outdated with dirty carpets, 70s decor, thin cheap sheets, very hard beds, rock like pillows and a dumpy vibe. They have a nice breakfast that caters to westerners but unfortunately the breakfast room is too small to accommodate the guests and you have to wait considerable amounts of time. The only good thing is that the location is good with easy accessibility to transportation. You can do much better in Tokyo for the prices charged.

Brilliant location, great staff, excellent sized rooms (desk and big bed and plenty of room), would have been great if i had needed to do business. View of a wall from my room, but that's probably what you can elect when you no at the last minute in peak time. My only real complaint was there was still some hair in the bathroom, but i didn't notice until i was already in the shower. Great location for accessing subway, JR and monorail (for haneda airport). I would definitely stay here again
