This is a beautiful hotel in a perfect location in Central Tokyo, one minute walk from the main Shinjuku station, making getting around very simple.

We checked in at 9am on a Sunday morning and thought it might have been difficult regarding either getting into our room or leaving our bags, but this was not the case at all. The desk staff were incredibly helpful, and advised us that although our room would not ready until midday (a bonus anyway since check in is technically 2pm), they stored our huge bags, offered us somewhere to wash and fresh towels if required, marked on our map places of interest nearby should we want to see the sights for a few hours, or alternatively showed us a quiet corner of the huge and impressive lobby / lounge where they said we were very welcome to rest or even snooze while we waited. This was incredibly welcome after a 13 hours travel! We decided not to rest as it happens and took up the receptionists tip of visiting Yoyogi park which has to be seen on a Sunday daytime when all the dancers, magicians, martial artists and sports people are out entertaining tourists. We didn’t actually get back to the hotel until 4pm!

The room itself was small, as was to be expected, but the bed was plenty big enough for the 2 of us and the room itself was very clean and comfortable and a perfect base for a full 3 days sightseeing. We slept incredibly well and found the room (on the 12th floor) to be very peaceful despite the central location

The free wi-fi is a plus, but not an essential as far as we were concerned. The wi-fi itself is in the computer room on the first floor, but I found that even sat in the lobby while waiting for our outgoing transfer I could pick up the wi-fi easily on my phone which was quite handy

The airport transfer limo buses pick up and drop off from here which was a deciding factor for us Tokyo first timers who had no idea where we were

I would have absolutely no hesitation staying here again

It was definitely the smallest room I´ve ever been to. Despite that, the room had everything we needed: clean bed, warm shower, bath amenities, flat screen, free Wi-Fi and even a complimentary cotton sleep shirt every day. Considering the Japanese prices, it was a good surprise, with no breakfast included, though. The decoration had a Japanese mood, adding a modern architecture and colours. The staff was quiet, but nice and efficient. The location was great, just 200 meters from Shinjuku station and all the bars and stores of that area.

This is the third time we've stayed here - and it's wonderfully convenient. The rooms are surprisingly large for Tokyo and most American travelers should find them comfortable. It is always a hive of activity with a very high occupancy rate - and therein lies the difficulty. It really has begun to show its age and wear and tear. Carpet is stained and the walls are scuffed and marred. It unfortunately give a less than stellar impression. But again it is conunter-balanced by it's wonderful location.

It's a good location since train stations are just nearby. There's a train line just next to the hotel that goes directly to tsukiji market. Since that will be an early trip, at around 5am, then this is a perfect hotel that you don't have to wake up really early. Trains start to operate at 5am. It will be perfect if wifi is available in the rooms but unfortunately it's only available in the lobby. If you're into shopping, this is a perfect hotel as malls are within walking distance. Fastfood like yoshinoya and mcdonalds are also nearby as well as family mart, a convenience store and a good ramen place. You may also check out a nearby electronic store just a short walk from the hotel, it's a five floors of electronics. This is a perfect location if you're visiting tokyo. Everything is within reach. I just hope wifi will be available soon in rooms.

Excellent location - ideal for those with a Japan rail pass. Shinjuku is a major JR station and is well connected to other major JR stations within and without Tokyo.

The Narita Express goes to Shinjuku without need for a change - head to the Southern Terrace exit where you will find a map with the hotel marked on it, just after the turnstiles. ~5 walk from there.

Lots going on in Shinjuku, as well as nearby Shibuya shopping district. The hotel is ~10 min walk to the Tokyo metropolitan government building with its excellent, free observatories on 45th floor.

Re: hotel itself - its a clean, smart, business hotel. Excellent staff with good levels of English. On-site baggage forwarding service is very useful. Breakfasts are good albeit not great.

Give the hotel restaurant a miss though for dinner and head to nearby Yakitori Alley or the shopping centres nearby where you will find surprisingly good food.
