Cute and just right outside Shibuya station so you'll definitely not miss it, though it's also brimming with tourists. Good photo op.

Cant quite understand why this is a must see place, the statue was so small, great because we just want to see the shibuya crossing and the hachiko happen to be "just there", not advisable to comeobly to see hachiko

Know the history and the story behind Hachiko, its a place to see and a meeting ground of different people as its within the corners of the intersection of the famous Shibuya crossing, a great place to do people watching and just soak up part of the plentiful culture that Japan has to offer.

This statue is a very good likeness of the real Hachiko, located at the Museum of Nature & Science in Ueno Park. Great meeting spot but you have to be patient if you don't want several other people on your photo of the statue.

If you know the great story that lead to the statues construction its cool to see in person as well as being a good photo op.

Other than that its just a small statue that takes 2 minutes to take in. If you're in Shibuya go visit, its easy to find but I wouldn't go out your way.
