Just got back from a fantastic lunch at sizzler, which is located just a 5 minute walk from the Hyatt Regency. We had tried to go yesterday (Saturday around 1.30pm) but the line was incredibly long and we were told 40 minutes to an hour. When we came back today (Sunday at around 2.45) there were only 4 groups ahead of us so it wasnt too long to wait.
There is a choice of meals from the grill, which included lamb cutlets, pork loin and ribs, 2 sizes of steaks, chicken fillet, 2 kinds of fish and prawns, all at different prices. There are different sauces and a choice of baked, mashed or fried potatoes (chips). Included with all these meals are all you can eat from the salad bar, dessert and drinks.
You can also have the salad bar on its own for two thousand and something ten (sorry don't remember). The salad bar itself is quite comprehensive, with 3 kinds of soup, soft tortilla tacos with all the trimmings, pasta, scalloped potatoes, make your own salad section with a huge range of additions, 5 kinds of dressing and a range of pre made salads. The Tunisian carrot salad was my very favourite!
The dessert section isn't huge but in my opinion doesn't need to be after eating so much of everything else.
We chose the pork and the lamb cutlets which were both delicious. The salad bar was also kept topped up and very clean and tidy.
A must go if you love salad and buffets, however it's better to go not in peak times if you don't want to wait too long.

The green goddess salad dressing and Steaks are very good. As always the salad bar is outstanding and a very large variety. For Americans, like me, it's comfort food.

Always dependable. Sizzler Japan never really compromised on Quality like Sizzler USA. The quality of their Salad Bar is amazing and they do a great job keeping it looking sharp, no matter how busy. There are better steakhouses, but not for what you will pay here. A couple times I filled out comment cards with suggestions and BOTH times they actually acted on my requests. That's consumer driven!

good food, salad bar, self-serve drink machine, good grilled salmon. Regular price, recommended for an unformal dinner.

During my trip to Tokyo, I always make it a point to dine at Sizzlers Nishi-Shinjuku when I visit the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building. I never really ordered anything from the main courses (nothing special to rave about), but I definitely availed the Salad and Pasta Buffet. I love the range and variety of fresh vegetables and dressings. In addition, there is also a soup station (yummy clam chowder and cream of pumpkin soup),a pasta station with different sauces (bolognese, white sauce, and even Japanese curry sauce), a Mexican station (you can make your own tacos and nachos), a bread station (don't miss out the cheese toast), a dessert station (cakes, bread pudding, jello, soft serve ice cream, and fruits), and a hot and cold drink station (juices, soda, different types of tea, and coffee). For 2000 Yen, you definitely get maximum value for your money.
