We had struck steadfastly to Japanese food our whole holiday and on the last 2 days we were craving salad and fruit.
Sizzler, opposite the Keio hotel and beside the Hyatt Regency was perfect.
We ate dinner and lunch here.
Dinner time was much quieter in the restaurant than lunch which had queues both waiting to be seated and at the salad bar.
You can just have the salad bar which comes with bottomless soft drinks/ tea/ coffee, dessert, soup, pasta, salad and dessert bar or have this plus a main of chicken, meat or seafood. We tried both but found we only need the salad bar without a main to fill us up.
The kids loved it too.
Great value for money and lots of choice.
Everything was very fresh and the buffet was very and restocked regularly.

When I say hunger struck, hunger struck and we were all about a buffet with no time limit, coming from what seemed to be a marathon of walking everywhere sightseeing, it was about that time.

So coming from Tochomae sta. on the Oedo line take the a1 exit. When you see Royal Host (yes go up the small stairs towards it)..the entrance to Sizzler is next door. You go through the entrance and up the stairs to be greeted and seated.

Once seated we were given menus. We opted to also order something from the menu, so we chose the steak and baked potato combo with the salad bar.

Steaks arrived as ordered and the salad bar provided a fair share of options. Now it's no sweet tomatoes but it'll do. I'm not sure what they were thinking when they labeled "taco meat" because that ishh was more like a consistency of a sloppy joe and it was sweet too. I was like uhmm ... no.. the guac.. did someone run it through a blender and forget about it? ok Mexican food not your forte. So I tried the other offerings such as the corn soup, sweet again. The tomato soup, also sweet. Completely lost the tang. On the flip side the cheese bread was pretty good. I asked for four slices and ate em all.

Overall: imho, you should order something from the menu with your salad bar to feel satisfied. They had pasta too but having the steak, baked potato and the salad bar completely filled me up. I was so full i felt someone should have carried me back home. haha. Staff were quick to please and easy to flag down should you need anything additional. enjoy!

The highlight here is the unlimited salad bar. With every order of any steak this is included thus making it a good value. You could also opt not to eat any steak or meat and just order access on the salad bar for less than Y2000 which is great value. Drinks and desert are already included in the salad bar. So this make it also very good for vegetarians. Service was great and they even give you a cake and sing happy birthday if you tell them its your birthday. Would definitely come back if I am in the area!

The best salad bar (buffet) in Tokyo.
Healthy and balanced food with a great selection of fruits and vegetables.
Maybe a little expensive but the coupons allow for lunch for 1600 to 1850 yen per person. Soft drinks included.
Extremely pleasant staff.
Hygiene irreproachable.

Opposite the Teio Plaza Hotel it offers an alternative to expensive hotel dining. Warm atmosphere inside the restaurant offers a range of sizzled meats, steak, pork etc but there is also a buffet without the sizzled meats that is more than adequate adequate. A very large salad bar after having soup and for me I had spaghetti bolognaise. Ample desserts plus tea and coffee with prices reasonable. Good attentive service.
