I booked this hotel through the usual place when I travel (Qantas Hotels). Wanted something in the main trust area and close to Tokyo but without the price. Chose this hotel as it offered a reasonable rate. However, I arrived from Hokkaido, tired after the flight ad combatting the subway at 1400 where check in was 1500 and there it remained. I waited in the lobby until the appointed time by which time by bag had been taken up to the room. The room itself was nice enough, small by Japan standards but had everything I needed. I came and went a couple of times through the three days I was there, greeting the front desk staff each time and was bearer replied to. I never gave up though. Overall - I guess you could say that the hotel represents value for money and a hotel on the Hooroo system (Qantas) illustrates that. However, the hotel lacks personality and friendliness. The free wi-fi internet took two of the three days to sort out by the staff who clearly were out of their depth with this. Breakfast was an additional charge of around $12 per person for coffee and a roll. Go to Starbucks, the staff are friendlier and have a wider choice. Check-out was a matter of handing in my copy of the registration card and that was that.
