The location really can't be beat - right in among the bright lights 2 minutes walk from Shinjuku station, and no problems with noise back in the room. Loads of eating and drinking options nearby. Room was very clean and more spacious than I was expecting being so close to Shinjuku station. Staff helpful too. This is the perfect hotel for enjoying the best of modern Tokyo and the bright lights. I will be back for sure.

Overall, a nice hotel with a wonderful staff. Location is in Nishi-Shinjuku, so lots of restaurants, shopping, etc. Everything you need is right there. Easy walk to the uber-crazy Shinjuku Station which is the busiest in Tokyo, and the world. The bed was comfortable, but they would do well to make the area under the bed a storage space like a lot of other business hotels will do in Japan. Travel lite if you plan to stay there because your luggage will take up much of the space in an already small room. Very clean room, but it could use a bit of a re-do. A little lingering smoke smell, but thats the same for every business hotel I've stayed Japan. You can't beat the price for the location in Shinjuku. I would consider staying there again. Now if they could just make Shinjuku Station a little more managable.........

We stayed 4 nights at Kadoya during our visit to Tokyo. The hotel was rather basic and small, but it was clean and you can't go wrong for the price and location (a short walk from Shinjuku railway station). Highly recommended for budget travellers in Tokyo.
