Enjoyed our stay at Nohga - great location a short walk from Ueno Station. Rooms are spacious and well appointed. We went with the inclusion of breakfast - buffet plus a choice of main course. Disappointing that only filter coffee was included, had to pay for any other option. There was surprisingly little English spoken - which made the breakfast and bistro experience quite challenging. Only negative was the service in the restaurant - disorganised.

Our 3rd time to stay here in Tokyo. We always choose to stay in Nohga. The hotel are nice and well maintained. Clean and cozy. You can relax and enjoy in the living area on 2nd floor. The restaurant also nice and delicious. The room is very clean and comfortable to stay. Love this hotel. Highly recommended

Lovely, immaculate, with friendly helpful service, a good restaurant, nice outdoor spaces and outdoor dining. This small hotel is in a quiet neighborhood close to a great train line. As expected the rooms are small which is typical in Tokyo but they are well designed. Very comfortable beds and even nice bedding and decent pillows. I was very happy with my stay. Also close to a great area for walks and museums.

NOHGA HOTEL UENO TOKYO
5th time in Tokyo since 2010, but 1st time in Ueno. Trying something new and Nohga was an inspired choice by my wife. Sleek and modern. Well-appointed room and very helpful/polite staff. Breakfast was also a highlight. Very well situated nearby, but not too close, to the Laneway eating/nightlife of Ueno. Highly recommended

NOHGA HOTEL UENO TOKYO
A chic hotel in the relatively sleepy Ueno district. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, and the rooms are a decent size, comfortable, and have a few nice touches (e.g. Bluetooth speaker, smart TV). Excellent shower (and of course, can't get enough of those Japanese toilets). We went for the breakfast, and it's good - you get a 'main' (e.g. french toast) and there's also a buffet.
As for location, it's about 8 mins walk from Ueno station, which links you up with the rest of the city. And it's within walking distance from plenty of shops/eateries, Ueno park (*some* cherry blossoms mid-March), Tokyo National Museum, and the lovely Yuyake Danden shopping area.
Would definitely recommend for a stay in Tokyo!
