When we check in in the morning . We can leave our luggage in their cloackroom. It self service and cool.
They have a pool but you should pay for it.
Ive got a room city view. But they have a view with skytree.
Around hotel you can get to asakusa temple area.
And if you want to use a train. You need more walking from there
The executive rooms have really lovely views and are large with separate huge bathrooms. Very light during the day which is nice and in summer Tokyo it was a welcome cool to come back to. Cleaned daily by lovely helpful Nepalese staff. Beds were comfortable but had steel construction underneath which we found a bit cheap hostel looking. We didn’t come to Tokyo to sleep all day and after walking around in the heat, we slept like babies. Extremely helpful male and female concierge staff especially on departure when we had separate vehicles for our little family of 5 group. The breakfast floor is busy yet always found a table and good selection of western and Asian foods. Yes it’s weird to pay for an indoor pool but we didn’t bother. It is a great area; plenty to explore and eateries everywhere close by. Train stations all around.
This hotel looks majestic and professional from the outside, but once you get past the reception, the rest is downtrodden and pedestrian. We were in room 917, and booked through QANTAS hotels. Even though it states that it is 4 stars, the reality is it is not! There were many issues, however the biggest problem was their air conditioning and ventilation. The reception and lobby are very cool, but once you take the lift to your floor, it is a very different story. The corridor was hot and airless. The room was equally bad. We had the air conditioning set at 15 degrees, but we were never freezing , let alone cold. The room would have been 26 degrees and hot, despite air conditioning. We did provide the hotel with the opportunity to redress this, and the best they could do was give us a Dyson fan that blew the hot air around. The furniture was old, chips on the bed head, the duvet was old and the beds were not comfortable. The pillows were equally uncomfortable. The only thing going for this hotel was the location, but now that I have been there, I would be looking for somewhere else to stay. Please avoid this hotel.
Convenient location close to lots of key attractions. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room spacious and well equipped with all standard amenities. Spilt for choice regarding eating outlets all within easy walking distance. Views are amazing.

The two positive things going for it are location and a beautiful foyer. Thats where it ends.
Check-in involved a 30-minute queue before being reaching disinterested staff who checked your ID then re-directed you to a booth machine to pay & issue your key. A really silly timewasting and unfriendly first contact.
The next encounter was queuing to get into a lift with a bus load of Chinese tourists.
The floors and carpets were filthy all week - see photos.
Cleaning trolly's were left in corridors all day, every day.
The rooms were dirty, old, and in need of repair. The electrical outlets and lights failed on two nights for no apparent reason.
The restaurants on the higher floors were booked out every night for 4 consecutive nights with locals and hotel functions.
