I was treated to an early birthday/Fathers day present by my Daughter and Son-in-Law in order to visit Terry Pratchett's 'His World' exhibition at Salisbury Museum. They booked my Wife and I into Grayling House on the basis of the web reviews and the fact that the house looked like the kind of place that 'Mom would like' (she's the one to please after all).

Anyway, they picked the perfect place, Rick greeted us and offered us a drink before showing us the room, he was easy going and great to talk to.

Nothing was too much trouble, offering as much tea/coffe as we wanted at breakfast, along with toast or croissants until we were satisfied. He'd also recommended the Royal Oak pub just across the river, that is an excellent and friendly place that serves wonderful food in uncomfortably sized portions, didn't stop us going back the next night though!

As I said, nothing was too much trouble for Rick and we will definitely be returning (in fact our Daughter and Son-in-Law are booking up for themselves as I speak)

There is a lot to see and visit nearby: - STONEHENGE - Beautiful old city and stunning cathedral of SALISBURY - Beautiful old city and stunning cathedral of WINCHESTER At night we went out in the beautiful and awesome Pubs (in walking distance). Rick and Lorraine were really nice and helpful hosts. They gave us hints were to park and what to visit. It is a old and charming house. The room was beautifull decorated, very british, bright and clean. We had everything you need: towels, tea, hair drier. Nice and good bathroom. Just perfect!

A lovely guesthouse with well sized rooms and very comfortable beds. The owner is very welcoming and happy to chat and make recommendations on what to see and do. Continental breakfast included in the price and you can order a cooked breakfast for a little bit more. Close to a selection of pubs for evening dinner. Delightful stay.

What a fantastic stay, great everything. A must for anyone in the area. Bed and breakfast were 11/10.
The shared local knowledge of points of interest for our days journey were very pleasing.
Most of all the hospitality shown to my family was very generous
Thank you
