I wanted a dog friendly pub and a nice walk on a Sunday so we chose Malham. The Lister arms looked picture perfect as we pulled up. It was a perfect country pub inside too.
I had steak and ale pie chips and mushy peas. I could have eaten it 3 times over! It was delicious.
Thank you very much

We spent a couple of nights here over the weekend. Lovely Pub in a great location. Gets very busy due to its popularity which is great as there is a good atmosphere around the bar area ad roaring fire. One thing we found surprising is that all tables were booked for Dinner in advance and no space for staying guests. I guess we should have booked in advance when we booked the rooms (Which was several months ago). Id suggest you do that just in case. Id also suggest the hotel mention this when booking. Other than that niggle and a bit of a grumpy check out it was a fabulous stay.

Visited this super pub for a drink earlier this year and made up our minds to come back and stay here. Malham is a really quaint and quiet village on the edge of the Yorkshire dales, and the pub is ideally located for walking in any direction. The staff are brilliant, friendly and very informative. The pub is dog friendly and the food superb. A lovely range of real ales available too. Even the weather was good for our visit.

From the initial welcome to checkout the two day stay was a happy experience. Comfortable clean cosy rooms. Quality food and a good selection of beers and wines.

I don’t really need to waffle on about it. Just really chuffed with the stay.
