Had a great time at Verdeblu. The owners who speak good English could not have been more welcoming and helpful. The location is ideal for the Cilento coast which is an unspoilt protected area and also for the inland hills and mountains which go to make up the National Park.

Giancarlo has his own fully insured boat (capable of taking 12 passengers) which is available to guests. We spent a whole day out with Giancarlo and his wife exploring the protected coastline which is really only accessible this way - a great experience. They can advise on all sorts of days out and hiking routes (having done most themselves) and will even accompany you if you want.
The rooms are a good size, well equipped, with a terrace and are modern. The whole place is kept very clean.

An evening meal is a must - the food was typical of the area but so well cooked and plentiful!

Scario a lovely little coastal village is about 3km away.

We considered our stay to be excellent value and if in the Cilento would certainly stay at Verdeblu again.

It was a very relaxing experience staying at Verdeblu house, near Scario, in Cilento . The owners are very friendly and cook marvelously, the structure is very well organized and full of things to do - or not do if you wish to :) either just relax or if you're into diving they are also fully equipped for diving. The room was very ample in comparison to what you see around here in Cilento, with air conditioning and all comforts.
