We picked up a leaflet in our cottage in Wells and decided to head down to Perry's one day. Apples were being pressed by the wagon load and we could smell apple juice as soon as we'd parked up under the apple trees in the orchard. The place was buzzing (literally!) and it was fascinating seeing the apples being pressed by rack and cloth and browsing the museum. Then we ventured in to the shop and tasted some amazing cider (and obviously bought some too!) and we finished our visit with an amazing clotted cream tea in the garden! I'll dream of this place now every September! (we visited in September 2011)
