We loved our stay in Como. It was soooo peaceful and relaxing. The views from the apartment are amazing. The pool is great. You can walk everywhere from the apartment following the Como trail. There is a small park and soccer field super close that my husband and son joined in on a game with the local kids. There is a beautiful church right down the road. You are up a couple blocks from the water which is perfect- cause the views are fantastic the higher you go. We rented a boat for a day- which I highly recommend. The owners can hook you up with the numbers. They have a ton of info about things to do in their office at the apartment. Trust me- this place is wonderful and you wont be disappointed.

A real nice place to stay. Excellent views of the lake, very nice people, and an easy walk to Lenno's boat dock. Includes a small kitchen with basic accommodations. The rooms are plane but adequate. I would return simply for the views.

Residence Celeste could so easily have gained a good vote if it hadn’t been for their book of rules.
Perhaps the owners have experienced uncivilized guests in the past but surely the best response would be to deal with the villains themselves rather than treat all new guests as potential hooligans. While rules are necessary, on reading them I began to wonder whether I was here as a paying guest or as a live-in maid.

This negative report is a shame as the place is lovely - nice clean apartments with a swimming pool below, and a beautiful view of Lake Como. I should have left that place wanting to return, but with such unfriendly rules I just didn’t feel welcome.

The apartment description was also slightly ambiguous. Being four adults we could have opted for one of the 4-5 people apartments, but in order to avoid using the sofa bed we chose the 6 people, two-bedroomed apartment “Angeli”. Alas, the second bedroom wasn’t much bigger than a dressing closet with two single beds squashed inside and it really didn’t feel like a bedroom at all. So at extra cost we still had to open up that sofa bed!

In my opinion, if the instructions had been presented in a swing along, holiday style then all the rest would have just slotted into place.

We spend one week during summer, in the "Angeli" apartment. Travelled two adults and two teens. There was two separate bedrooms, and the possibility of making a sofa bed in the living room.
The apartment was very clean, and everything looked brand new. The kitchen was spacious, and had all we needed (even a dishwasher!). The standard of the kitchen was way above what you would expect from a holiday apartment.
The view from the apartment was fantastic.
There is one parking for each apartment. The parking area is actually the only small minus of this place; the driveway to the parking area is extremely steep.
Overall a great place to stay, and hereby given our warmest recommendations.

We were a group of 7 friends celebrating our 30 birthday. The accomodation was just perfect for us as we were able to catch the ferry from Lenno around the lake which is just a 15 minute walk in to town.
Yes it may be a hilly/ cobbled walk but unfortunately you get that in every town around the lake and we did not find it extremely difficult- and on the nights when we were too full from excellent food and drink we got a taxi back for 15 Euros- very cheap between 7 people. Everyone in town will help you book a cab, no issues at all.
People have commented that there are hidden extras and breakage charges- all we can say is that if you're tidy, clean and respectable then there shouldnt be any reason to worry about the cost of broken plates or glasses.
Lenno had a few restaurants (we favoured Bar Sport- lovely views and Bellinis/ cheese/ meat platters next to the Lake) and a beautiful Gelato shop. The accomodation was comfy, extremely clean and very spacious. The staff were very friendly- giving us tips for restaurants, leaflets for ferries etc and spoke excellent English. It was the perfect getaway- ideal for venturing out and about and also for relaxing by the pool. We stayed in Angeli and Narcisco which both had small yet beautiful little balconies- the views each morning were outstanding and literally took our breath away. A special place to celebrate a very special ocassion.

Room Tip: Angeli and Narcisco are next to each other and have lovely tlittle baclonies- perfect if you're a large group or just love a fab lakeside view.
