All the favourites are available here but there are loads of unusual options. The confit of duck filo is yummy as were the pork bao. The white bait were nice but a little dry. Loved the salmon yakitori! We finished with icecream. So creamy and sweet, maybe share one. A nice atmosphere and very comfortable area to sit. Worth a try.

Nice place but very busy. Service was a bit slow and they missed one of the meals and we had to remind them. You can't go too late as the kitchen closes without warning, So we missed our desserts. Besides all this the food was good quality.

If you go, go earlier as it is very hard to find parking.

A visually inviting cavernous venue with funky decor & music.

We ordered Nasu Dengaku, (fried eggplant topped with sweet miso), 2 serves of Ebi - charcoal grilled prawns .... 4 average prawns for $36, green salad with mustard dressing (great for sinuses), Field mushroom - barely enough for one at $8 and a Soba noodle salad - very small serve.

Realizing dishes arrived one at a time we asked if another dish can accompany our Green salad..... this was too hard.

Single ice cream is $13/flavour & would be another $26 if we each ordered dessert.

Without dessert & alcohol totaled $103 for 2.
We were barely sated.

If you’re after funky Japanese experience with focus on beverages with deep pockets ..... this is the place to be!!

There is nothing I can fault at this restaurant.. it's got an amazing vibe with delicious food. Definitely worth the money! The time and preparation that goes into these dishes are fanominal!

We chose this place for a 25th birthday dinner. It was the younger members of the family who chose this place for us. We were delighted for the first time. The food is a combination of tapas like fusion Japanese with all the traditional dishes.
From the basic yakitori to egg plant, wagyu beef, lamb cutlets, oysters and scallops are very pleasing to the taste buds. The combination sushi/sashimi plater was excellent.
We didn’t take the standard banquet at $75 but eventually our bill came up to close just over that amount anyway and there were plenty for the 6.
I am not so much into wine but those who are keen have remarked that the wine list was ample with good choices at all levels especially the sakes. The cocktails are with a distinct Japanese influence. The desserts are delightful too.

It is in tavern/pub like building and we were seated at the back with glass roof, where we can see the moon! The music was a bit loud at times and a bit hard to hear conversation. Food is served generally at a fairy quick pace and so it is better pace yourself. Staff are friendly and courteous.
