Our party of 6 ate here twice during our stay nearby. Fantastic quality, fresh local food, promptly and beautifully prepared and very reasonably priced. The staff were absolutely lovely. Great location in the heart of medieval village of Beynac.

We ate here twice during our stay in Beynac. The restaurant has a good atmosphere and a friendly jovial owner and consistently seemed to be the busiest in the village. The service was friendly and efficient though you did not feel rushed. The food was good and well presented but not adventurous. The menu is limited, a veal dish, a pork dish and a fish dish which vary each day and a duck dish which seems to be the same. Starters and deserts seemed to stay mainly the same. A few other options but I would say eating there twice was enough. The portion size also varied a bit with the amount of salmon in the gravalax starter enormous. Large wine selection but more limited range of other drinks.

We visited twice with friends we tried a variety of meals for less than €20 you can have a 3 couse meal and all are fantastic, the presentation and flavours of all our meals were excellent in every way. We had in total 24 different dishes and everyone was benchmark quality, we asked the name of the Chef and we're told his name was Florem after a 2 month tour of Europe we all voted Florems food the best. The service was impeccable and very attentive. Book as it's very busy every night. The terrace tables are booked very quickly however the interior ambiance is very nice so you will not be disappointed.

We are staying in the Dordogne area for a week and visited Beynac et-Cazen which is situated alongside the Dordogne river. We chose this restaurant ahead of several others as it had good reviews on tripadvisor and the menu board looked good. The menu du jour was 3 courses for 19.50. My husband had this and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I only wanted a starter and main, and not from the daily menu, so that cost 25 Euro, well worth it.
It was the attention to detail and the way the food was presented added that little extra. The staff were brilliant and even took my water bottle way, reusable one, filled it with fresh water and kept it cool in the fridge until we left.
Brilliant would definitely go back again

We ate here twice in three days off of the set menu. Two courses for 19.5 euro. On both occasions the choices we made of starters and mains all tasted incredible. The gravelax starter was huge. Would eat here again if not going home!
