Review of Brasserie Panorama

Why is it when travelling in France, when you most need a break, food and drink only to find the 'place is closed for 2 hours' ? Well, here is your answer. Brasserie, brewery, bar, stunning views and a welcoming smile. What a find, but closed Monday's. English, French and Dutch spoken. A gem find after an on spec stop

Thank Pamela D

Delightful casual restaurant on the outskirts of Beynac with tables available for us on walk-in and open mid-day, unlike many local restaurants which have a reprieve between lunch and dinner seatings. The service was friendly and personal, a brewery tour at the end very enlightening to the unique old-fashioned process used for their beer. Food was plentiful and tasty -meatball well cooked and served simply with fries and fruit-garnished green salad, while the duck burger was extra rich with foie gras and carmelized onions. Opening bread was some of the nicest we enjoyed in France as well - would certainly return.

We were staying at the campsite opposite and visited this lovely restaurant a few times during our stay.

Very friendly owners and the food is superb.

Highly recommend

The food here is surprisingly good and generous portions. Very friendly service and will happily speak english. Good selection for children.

Owner has homebrew beer which is a bit different, even gave me a tour of the brewery round the back and explained the process.

Great views of the chateau. It can be difficult to get a table in the main village in the evenings if not pre-booked, however this place is okay without a reservation and is somewhat of a hidden gem.

Overall a good find.

I visited this establishment in June this year. Their dog wanders around and urinates on the the table and chair legs!!!!! Owners did not react to this at all.
Food not bad but . . . . .
My first report of this incident was ignored by TripAdvisor!!!
