This is a small restaurant in a little village in the Dordogne valley that should be on every foodies bucket list! However, who knows how long this fantastic restaurant will be in operation so if you are in the area, go now or you may miss at first class meal!
All dishes we had were prepared clearly with a great deal of loving care and attention. Ann the waitress was wonderful, helpful and very knowledgeable. There were no bad dishes served here so one can not recommend any individual dishes that are better than other dishes! We had a great evening!

we stayed a week travelling around the Dordogne valley to see if we want to retire here.
we were so very disappointed in the food up to visiting this lovely place.
everything seemed to lack flavour and came with chips ! NOT HERE.
We had the set menu 26 euros each , the most delicious soup we have EVER tasted , tomato , orange and coriander, followed by spicy pork , rice and green beans , followed by a lovely fruit crumble , Ann was our waitress who was a star , we chatted to some very interesting people , we tried to book the next night but unfortunately it was closed . one word DELICIOUS . It is a bit of a trek up the hill and ladies wear pumps or trainers no high heels. Book early as only 24 places

OK, maybe the Michelin star is overdoing it but this was a fabulous restaurant. A bit of Asian/French fusion at the top of this charming little village, Limeuil. The waitress was lovely and took time to explain all the dishes. And when they came out, all 4 of us were supremely satisfied. Beautiful appearance, delicate tastes, and just wonderful without being complicated. Would love to return. In fact we would have come back the next night but they were fully booked!

This is a wonderful restaurant that we first visited several years ago but is under new ownership. It's a hike up to the very top of the village so a challenge when we went today at 30 + degrees but well worth the trouble the food was really good. We had the Garden Party menu at €17 which was a starter of aubergine cavier with goats cheese- amazing and then grilled fillets of chicken in a tarragon and lemon cream sauce with crushed potatoes for our main course really delicious and the dessert was vanilla and orange creme topped with fresh strawberries, also delicious and the carafe of rose was particularly refreshing followed by a really good espresso. English and French spoken. Very friendly and good service and afterwards a walk round the garden whilst your up there is a good idea - the views are amazing. Hope you visit and enjoy as much as we did.

We loved this little restaurant overlooking the valley on one side and the village square at beneath the chateaux garden walls on the other. The food was delicious and slightly different as well as charmingly served. Recommend their gazpacho and their tomato lentil and mozzarella salad which was beautifully seasoned and so good I had to have it on two of our three visits during a one week stay - though the menu changes daily. Definitely the best restaurant in Limeuil.
