Early October, in the sun. What could be better? This was our first visit and we ate indoors. Glorious old French farmhousy building and good food to match.
Menu de jour, three courses, 18€ which is excellent considering where it is on the confluence of the Vesere and Dordogne rivers. Our meal was very good and not the usual touristy stuff, 25€ each with apero, wine and coffee.
Parking might be a problem if they are busy but there is an additional car park a short distance further on.
