Didn't think we were going to make this as the d e's aler a ho sold us our new JEEP had lost the locking wheelnut key , we were worried about what would hapoen if we got a puncture . So we set off wondering what else might go wrong .
The hotel was part of a Brittany Ferries long weekend package . Experience has taught us , that like their ferries and service , their designated hotels etc are excellent and characterful . Set in the grounds of a rural golf club the surroundings are bordering idyllic , a little awkward to find as is the case with a lot of Brittany Ferries lodgings .However this probably is the reason that they seem to be without exception to be a taste of real France .
Rooms are Iarge light and airy , our particular room had french windows leading to a balcony . Television had a limited choice of English channels , but if that bothers you then perhaps you are missing the point of a break in rural France .
So on to dining , excellent choice for breakfast with much local content , evening meals not available Sundays , but of excellent value and quality on the days they are available .
Should you be a golfer, then I suppose this must be close to Nirvana , however for this none golfer I still found this a lovely place to be and shall most certainly look to be returning at some point in the future .

Booked this on the basis of other reviews and was delighted with our stay. Spent two nights, would heartily recommend this hotel.

The hotel is about 15 minutes North of Carnac, so it's a short drive to the megalithic alignments, and close to the wonderful beaches out on the peninsula and the Gulf. It is modern and stylish, but easy and comfortable. The covered swimming pool is really very nice indeed. We had a superior room, and it was still only 104 Euros a night. Great bed, nice modern room, good sound-proofing.

We ate at the hotel restaurant for one evening, and thoroughly enjoyed good food at a good price. It's all a class act for the money.

The hotel may seem a little hard to find at first, but if you follow the reasonably numerous signs out of Ploemel you can't go wrong. And it's well worth it! The hotel will give you good directions, so you may want to phone them when you get to Ploemel.
