My friend and I enjoyed a very beautiful Sunday lunch on the covered terrace at the beautiful and historic Monda Castle.
The atmosphere was relaxed and quite casual as it was obviously meant to be with all staff in trainers, white shirts and denim. Each of them was attentive, friendly and multi-lingual. We appreciated the fact that this is very much a child-free 'grown ups' restaurant after the European school holidays have come to an end.
We enjoyed a lovely bisque as a starter and then I had the famous mushroom risotto which certainly lived up to its reputation. My friend enjoyed fish for the main course which was beautifully presented and very well cooked.
We shared the white chocolate mousse dessert and enjoyed every spoonful.
A truly lovely way to spend a late summer afternoon in Southern Spain. We will be back for certain.
